Welcome to “What a Song!”, a new column that every week or so I’ll highlight some anime songs like OP, ED or BGM that I really enjoy..something that makes me go “What a Song!” and the series it accompanies. There won’t be any spoilers of any sorts here! Now let’s go and put our headphones on, as 6 songs will be featured this week! Continue Reading →

Moving Towards New Horizons
Well I’m back and boy I have a lot to talk about because these three weeks were a time that I seriously considered my options now that college is almost starting for me. New features, new columns and yes another plea to join this small but quickly growing blog! Seriously, over 55,000 hits in a short time is really fantastic! Time to hit the continue button for some surprising announcements! Continue Reading →
Sword Art Online – 04
Sword Art Online seems to neglect the explanation or show how Kirito gets strong. If we ask about that, the number one answer has got to be because he’s a ‘beater’. End of story. I guess it’s either A-1 Pictures think that it isn’t so interesting to show Kirito fight monsters and other more boss over and over because that will be boring; or the author himself thinks it’ll be boring. Either way, I’m not really complaining. Continue Reading →
Manga Review: Cage of Eden Volumes 1-5

From back left to right: Busty nurse (Oomori), friend of the protagonist (Saji), childhood friend (Rion), protagonist (Akira), and the smart guy (Mariya).
Looking around for a manga to start off with, I eventually stumbled upon Cage of Eden on a whim. Reading a few chapters, it reminded me of Highschool of the Dead. Both series are dominated by gruesome, terrible beings (zombies in HOTD, extinct animals in Eden) that will kill you without a doubt in their mind and a penchant for blatant fanservice though Cage of Eden’s is much more conservative in the number of scenes. Yet, this is a manga that really knows how to keep you wanting more and leaving in some really annoying cliffhangers and that’s this series biggest strength. Continue Reading →
Kokoro Connect – 04
I don’t really know what to feel about this episode. I’m actually torn between liking and disliking it. First off, I like this episode because I love this anime and we’re actually getting more into the story. On the other hand, I’m partially disliked this episode because it made me feel that as if all their personal and supposedly mind breaking problems seems a bit forced.
Tari Tari – 04
I guess I’m still no fan of the music genre. Not that I’m expecting so much from Tari Tari but since it’s slice of life anime, I thought that I’d really like it. My first impression isn’t entirely wrong but still, I guess you can never fully judge an anime base on that first impression. Music genre is something that can barely please me and Tari Tari has got to be one of those… Continue Reading →
Another Review – 27/100 *spoilers*
I’m back..? Will post a status update soon. Enjoy this merciless critique of one of the many over-rated series out there.
There comes a time when you just have to throw you hands up in the air and figure out what the hell you just watched. Continue Reading →
Kokoro Connect – 03
For some reasons, I like how this anime doesn’t entirely focus on the whole swapping business and I definitely like how it doesn’t seem to waste its time on useless things. In this episode, we see further developments on our main characters. It’s a fun episode and at the same time, I feel that I somehow understand some of them even more.
Sword Art Online – 03
I guess at some point, Kirito (Matsuoka Yoshitsugu) doesn’t really want to be alone. He’s a solo player because he’s probably not good at dealing with people. I know the feeling. I don’t now how much more we’ll see Kirito like this but other than his ‘bad guy’ image in ep2, I guess that’s the end of it… Continue Reading →
Tari Tari – 03
This episode has finally assembled the five main characters together. I personally say that I like this episode than the previous one. Anyway, with what they plan to do with their club: Choir Club and sometimes Badminton Club is just hilarious. Seriously. Continue Reading →
