Contrary to last week’s light episode which is full of Inu X Boku SS’s specialty – chibi moments, exciting Watanuki x Karuta pairing, Zange trolling and a lot more, this episode has presented a rather more serious side of the story. With Kagerou’s comeback at the end of last episode, it was clear to me that these remaining episodes are going to focus on the three of them: Ririchiyo, Kagerou and the very mysterious Miketsukami.
I’m personally not disappointed with the cancelation of Ririchiyo and Miketsukami’s coffee time rather this actually opens to more interesting things to come. I’d say that Inu X Boku SS definitely won’t make a pure serious episode given how this episode actually started. I’d say that Inu X Boku SS is good at making a hilarious episode and turn them into something both serious and intriguing at the same time.
I was really glad at how the characters are shown in this episode. Though they aren’t the fluffy chibi I really love seeing, more emotions are particularly shown in this episode. One very noticeable change is Miketsukami who seems to be showing that at some point, he also have some feelings for Ririchiyo (other than his master-servant feelings). Moreover, it was really interesting to see Miketsukami fight his previous master for Ririchiyo’s sake or is it for his sake like what Kage has said? Either way, this episode sure have finally become more intriguing add to that the preview which shows Miketsukami’s story which everyone has surely been waiting for .
